Nonprofit Fixer Fellowship
Group Coaching Program for Nonprofit Leaders
Have a six-figure salary working four days a week - and a board that has your back.
You have dedicated your life to service. How are you being repaid (if you’re getting paid at all)?
I will help you transform your nonprofit leadership career so you can finally get paid what you deserve, stop settling for less, and only work 4 days a week.
I have done this and now I’ll show you how to do it, too.
You know the drill…
There is no user manual. You have been thrown into the deep end with little help or appreciation.
It’s time to end the poverty mindset that (wrongly) told us we had to…
Get paid a crappy wage because the work has a 501c in front of it
Tolerate a crappy board that doesn’t get you or help you
Settle for crappy software, furniture, and burnout as a badge of honor
But when you learn the power inside you to NEGOTIATE, and CONTROL YOUR CALENDER, and DETERMINE YOUR OWN TERMS for HOW HARD and WHERE YOU WORK…
You will be soaring past 6-figure salaries, having long weekends EVERY weekend with ZERO guilt.
Results You Will Get
YOUR FIRST DAY IN THE FELLOWSHIP
You’ll immediately have a sample job description
You’ll immediately have a tool to track your successes so you can justify a raise
You’ll have all the key policies your board needs to be compliant
IN YOUR FIRST 30 DAYS
You will a clear priority list for fundraising
You’ll have a board agreement you can put in front of your board to hold them accountable
You’ll have a job description you helped write so you aren’t flying blind
You’ll have a complete compliance checklist to keep your peeps out of jail :)
Know exactly what 10 areas you must master to get a 6 figure job and a 4 Day workweek
A tool for your board to start committing to fundraising tasks
Finally - My framework will show you all three areas you must master to get a 6-figure salary, a 4-day workweek, and a board that has your back!
Has your board abandoned you? I will show you how to fire your crappy board and build a rockstar board that is on your side and off your back.
Your new board will raise money, stay in their lane, support you, and give you the support and security you need.
Boards
Raise more money in more ways more quickly than before. Everything you want you can have by raising more money. I’ll show you the expert tips, tactics, tools and insights to turbocharge your fundraising so you can hire more help and have nice things!
Fundraising
Learn to negotiate for everything you want. You are burned out because you are doing it all with little support. I’ll show you how to say “no” to burnout-level work. I’ll help you delegate so you can rest and get out of the weeds. Build a team that brings you solutions not problems.

Monique got specific and real-time answers to key questions facing the future of her foundation.
Irene and her organization dramatically expanded how they raise money, improved their website, and enhanced key messaging.
Leigh grew confidence as a leader and conquered self-belief;
a key factor in moving her organization forward.
Since starting coaching, Will is now raising more money, leading with clarity, and feeling empowered every step of the way!
Leah worked closely with Sean to build a strong foundation to set her family and organization up for success.
Marcela transformed and leveled up her leadership through dedicated time and effort.
Morgan’s leadership has reached new heights since she started Executive Leadership Coaching.
Michelle worked closely with her Fellows in the group to brainstorm solutions and received 1:1 support from Sean.
Teresa filled her toolkit with key resources and connected with her Fellows to fuel her (and her organization’s) growth!
"Sean has excellent insight into what it means to be a nonprofit executive director. His materials are fantastic, and his approach to working with the whole person (not just how the job is going) has been precisely what I needed to learn how to do my job well.
Working with Sean has helped me identify more efficient ways of working and given me confidence and clarity on what my role as an ED should be rather than trying to do everything all the time. Shared resources have also been helpful, and I can't wait to dig into them.
Sean has gone above and beyond what I expected, and the value of our interactions has far exceeded the cost."
— Rosemary Blizzard | Executive Director, Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center
"It's a new challenge, and I'm ready for it. I also want to acknowledge that it means a lot for Sean to provide this opportunity for BIPOC-led nonprofits like mine. BIPOC-led nonprofits are often overlooked and don't have the same opportunities to pay for this kind of crucial training that is so needed for our growth, so things like this are a huge step forward.”
— Sheri Munsell | Executive Director, Hope Gain Network
Why Am I the Best Choice to Help You?
Because I have been through the fire and know your struggles. I have consistently negotiated for better pay and more time off. I’ll show you how to know your value and care for yourself and your organization at the same time.
I have worked in nonprofits for over 33 years. In 2017, I started The Nonprofit Fixer, my consulting and coaching company. I am invited to help nonprofits around the world and am an internationally respected expert on fundraising, management, and boards.
From 2018-2022, I was the Executive Director of a national climate change think tank, The Climate Advocacy Lab. I helped strengthen the organization despite a global pandemic. I implemented the 4 day work week and had a multi-six-figure salary.
Prior to that, I was the Executive Director for a leading national bullying prevention nonprofit, The Tyler Clementi Foundation. There, I tripled the budget of this national startup as their first executive director, ending with a $120K salary.
In 2013, I was recruited to be the Executive Director of Amplify US, a National Nonprofit Polling and Research organization. They were a first-of-its-kind startup to train nonprofits on polling, and the starting salary I negotiated was $120K.
Prior to Amplify, I served as Executive Director for Blueprint NC, a statewide coalition of policy organizations. There, I nearly tripled Blueprint’s budget and helped them become a force to be reckoned with in NC. Salary was $88k.
My first executive director role was for NARAL Pro-Choice NC, a premier women’s reproductive health organization. There, I helped build the board from scratch and steered us through the global financial downturn of 2008-2009. Starting salary: $60K.
“One of my board members recommended that I sign up for The Nonprofit Fixer Fellowship. From my very first day in the program, I recognized the wisdom of following her advice!
Sean Kosofsky is delivering "everything an executive director wanted to know, but was afraid to ask" in this program. From the overviews presented in his infographics to the worksheets and templates that provide guidance on the top 10 responsibilities an ED needs to fulfill, Sean provides an "ED toolbox" that will be useful long after the program ends. His live training/coaching calls, hot seat sessions, and rapid, personalized responses to individual questions push the program over the top in terms of value.”
— Monique Y. Wells | Founder and CEO, Wells International Foundation
