Many nonprofit organizations struggle to engage their board members with fundraising, especially the act of asking another person for money.
It is tempting to allow board members to skip fundraising because it makes them uncomfortable. However, leadership and taking responsibility for the financial health of an organization can sometimes be uncomfortable.
Luckily, there are ways to make it easier!
Increasingly, nonprofits are looking for options to engage board members in fundraising without requiring direct solicitation.

"Sean Kosofsky’s lecture on the basics of fundraising was incredibly informative. Not only did he touch on tried-and-true methods, Sean also discussed new platforms that organizations can leverage to increase participation in their campaigns."

"Fundraising is based on making sure you understand the big picture and then get some small details right. It is also based on not being afraid to make an “ask”. Sean Kosofsky’s book is a great refresher on tools to raise money. I would recommend it to all non-profits."
